What Should I Look For?

  • Narratives that have an asterisk after the title contain a sample narrative:
  • To view a Reminder window, in an Item, select the pencil icon:
  • Section and Item titles followed by a hash mark have comments with spaces for room numbers:
    • Furnace       The furnace blower was…
    • Furnace #    In number(s) ___, the furnace blower was…

Does it Follow the CCPIA Standards of Practice (SOPs)?

This template content exceeds the requirements of the CCPIA SOPs. Inspection templates and inspection Standards serve different purposes, and this template is organized in manner optimized for the inspection process, so it covers the standards but doesn't follow them.

How do the commercial narratives differ from residential?

Commercial clients are generally more sophisticated than residential clients. Not only do they not need to be told to hire a "qualified" contractor, they may have staff that can handle problems.

Contractor Type Recommendations

This template doesn't come with contractor type recommendations, but it does come with a list of over 160 custom recommendations that you can add to your Custom Contractor Type recommendation list.  (Settings > REPORT OPTIONS)
