When you inspect a house with damaged or missing historic tile that may be difficult to match, be careful in your recommendation. There are tile contractors scattered across North America that have yards with extensive inventory of historic, obsolete, and unusual roof tile. Suggest to your clients that paying for a shipment of a few tiles is much less expensive than replacing an entire roof, especially if it allows them to keep a unique roof.
